Opportunities to start a conversation with a girl are everywhere.
If you walk around central London (or any other major city) and pay attention you will see plenty of opportunities.
Two girls poring over a map; the girl in the coffee shop reading a book; the girl standing outside her office smoking a cigarette; the girl handing out flyers; the girl working behind the counter in Starbucks…
These are all girls you could potentially be going out with. You must talk to them! Today I’ll suggest a great way you could start a conversation with a girl serving you coffee.
How to Approach the Barista
This is very difficult approach. She is at work and she is busy but if you like her you want to give yourself the best possible chance to get her number. The window you have to talk to her will be very short, perhaps fifteen or twenty seconds. This is how you have to do it:
Girl: What can I get for you sir.
You: Wow! You have the most incredible smile! I would like a skinny latte and I need to see you again. Here is my number {either hand over scrap of paper or a business card}.
As the coffee is coming there is no need to say anything else and, as you leave, smile at her. As I pointed out at the start, this is a difficult approach because she is likely to be in a hurry and she is certainly not expecting what is about to happen. But this approach will shake her from her day to day grind by being dramatic.
It is important to make an impression on her. It would have been less effective if you had tried to be coy and done it discreetly. By being dramatic you also demonstrated confidence.
It was a good move to hand over your number. She is at work and it would be unprofessional, not to mention fiddly, for her to give out her number. Sure, there is less chance she will use it, but it at least gives you some chance. So, now you’ve seen how easy it is, get out there and start approaching women!
