Many guys fall into the trap of “generic pleasers”. I’ve totally made that phrase up and I’m not even sure it makes a lot of sense.
What I mean is that guys often have a weak identity and melt into the background in a blue jeans, navy shirt, short haircut please-all kind of look.
Create An Identity
Getting a girl to like you is about creating an identity- not a false one but a real one. The idea is some girls will hate it and others will love it.
As an example: girls who like 6’5” rugby players are not going to like me – I should discount them and cultivate an image that girls who like that image will really love.
Mine is a kind of middle-aged, public school, slightly unkempt look with jeans, shirt and jacket. I look older than I am but I feel comfortable. Girls who like smart mature men will probably like me and ones who like taking drugs and going to rock concerts almost certainly will not.
In contrast, Milton these days is sporting an alice-band-and-long-hair look reminiscent of Sergio Ramos. My girlfriend thinks he looks preposterous, but there are plenty of girls out there who go weak-kneed at the Spanish footballer look. Whatever your niche there will be a thousand followers but give them something to follow.
